Hughie learns his father has suffered a stroke and visits him, only to encounter his mother who had abandoned him at the age of six. As Butcher’s health deteriorates, he hallucinates and sees Becca, only for the vision to lecture him about how Ryan must be taken away from Homelander as soon as possible. After the vision disappears, Neuman receives a text message from Butcher regarding the Red River files, stolen by Butcher from Hughie, she requested in order to help him reunite with Ryan; however, Neuman gets trolled when she, instead, receives an obscene image.
